As a Computer Science student at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, I have been captivated by the dynamic realm where technology intersects with human experience. My enthusiasm for this convergence has steered me towards a journey of exploration and investigation, primarily focusing on the intriguing domains of artificial intelligence and data science.
Throughout my academic tenure at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, I have garnered a solid foundation in Computer Science, broadening my horizons through engaging coursework such as Distributed Systems, Parallel and Sequential Data Structures and Algorithms, and Machine Learning. These courses have equipped me with invaluable knowledge and skills that I've applied in real-world scenarios.
During my time at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Engineer Contributor, I had the privilege to propose and implement robust software solutions for the OpenSearch project. I am currently contributing to the project's performance, notably by supporting local APIs and building guides for better contributor engagement. This experience culminated in my selection as a featured speaker at OpenSearchCon 2023 , where I shared insights into my transformative journey through the College Contributor Initiative (CCI) experience.
In my role as a Software Engineer Intern at the Qatar Computational Research Institution, I undertook the challenge of developing a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter and Android Studio. Through this experience, I honed my ability to enhance functionality and optimize performance, all while implementing effective version control and collaboration strategies.
Moreover, my involvement as a Course Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar provided me with the opportunity to assist in teaching course material, guide students through challenging projects, and devise individual performance strategies. This role allowed me to not only enrich my understanding of the subject matter but also cultivate my mentorship and leadership skills.
In my project undertakings, such as the Real-time Stock Predictor and FileStack, I displayed a knack for problem-solving and creativity. Leveraging languages and technologies like Python, Java, and Flutter, I designed and implemented solutions that showcased my ability to address complex challenges and optimize system performance.
My proficiency in programming languages including Python, C, Dart, and Java, coupled with my experience utilizing tools such as Git, Selenium, and Android Studio, has fortified my foundation as a versatile and adept computer scientist. I am constantly eager to further evolve and contribute to the fascinating and ever-evolving landscape of computer science and artificial intelligence.
This journey has shaped my aspirations and solidified my commitment to computer science and artificial intelligence, fueling my ambition to make impactful contributions to these domains in the future.
